Gratefulness In The Joy Of Jesus
It is in the joy of Jesus that I
Come before you this day, Father.
I thank You for:
The privilege of prayer,
And the seasons of prayer I have shared with you along the way.
The friends you have gifted to me over the years,
And the friends you will send my way in the days ahead.
The immeasurable gift of grace known to man,
And the individually experienced grace by so many a man.
Your always present listening heart,
And the heart of listening you prompt me to share.
The treasure of your Word,
And for so many who have cherished that treasure over the years.
The hope of forgiveness being given,
And the joy of forgiveness being received.
The family of those who love You around the globe,
And the hope of what “family” can mean in any home on the globe.
The delight of on purpose living that you give,
And all that it means to live within the power of that delight.
The on going astonishment of being “saved by grace,”
And the honor sharing such salvation in the power of grace.
In brief, my Father, I am so very thankful for…
All of Who you are,
And all You are to me,
In all the seasons of my life.
