Growing Your Career, Business & Financial Life

, by

“Father, there are so many factors that make up our career, business and financial lives: money, relationships, values and much, much more.  As I reflect on any of these vital subjects, my prayer is so very simple to me — yet so meaningful: guide me in You, for you and by your power.  In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!” ~ Lee Wise

Careers.  Businesses.  And finances.

Talk about an abundance of topics that could be addressed relative to those areas of our lives!

Important areas.

Very important areas.

Areas such as:

Acquiring wisdom.  Dealing with change.  Creating change.

People attitudes.  Progress attitudes.  Leadership attitudes.

Value choices.  Purpose choices.  Work ethic choices.

And those are just to name a few.

Therefore, my three-fold suggestion for you is to:

  1. Read — preceded by a prayer.  The one you see above or one you create on the spot.
  2. Read — purposefully.  A “you name it” spontaneous purpose designed by you and for you.
  3. Read — delightfully.  Carry with you the desire to be inspired, motivated, or joy-filled in one way or another.

Following about a three year search for God, Lee trusted Christ as Savior in 1967 as young Marine. He has served as an outreach pastor and a church planter. The Lord also led him to serve as the Director of Internships at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA where he served for over 20 years. Lee loves to write, has a strong desire to be a positive influence for Christ in our world, and is passionate about family. And speaking of family, he and his wife Sherry (who served as a Director of Elementary Education for many years and recently retired) praise the Lord for being married 44 years, their 3 daughters and son-laws, and 7 grandchildren! Lee and Sherry would say: "We've been abundantly blessed."
