A Prayer For Today…

On Being Grateful This Day

“Oh, Lord, I totally realize there’s trouble in the world — just as you said there would be.  Even in knowing that, however,  I ask for you to enable me today to take in the many, many things for which I could be grateful.  Enlighten my eyes to see and my spirit to respond to you in loving gratefulness, worship and praise — today… now… in my world. In Jesus’ Name Amen!”

On Being Grateful This Day  – Reflections

To help in your “gratefulness reflections” for today take a moment of time now — or, at some point in time in your day make several moments of time to join along in worship with the video below the resource box at the end of this note.  It is fantastic!

Pause,
Reflect,
Rejoice,
Give thanks...
And praise!

A Prayer For The Day…

 Reflecting On Scripture

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” (Colossians 2:6-7)**

Following about a three year search for God, Lee trusted Christ as Savior in 1967 as young Marine. He has served as an outreach pastor and a church planter. The Lord also led him to serve as the Director of Internships at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA where he served for over 20 years. Lee loves to write, has a strong desire to be a positive influence for Christ in our world, and is passionate about family. And speaking of family, he and his wife Sherry (who served as a Director of Elementary Education for many years and recently retired) praise the Lord for being married 44 years, their 3 daughters and son-laws, and 7 grandchildren! Lee and Sherry would say: "We've been abundantly blessed."
