A Prayer For Today…

In Darkness May We See

“Lord, I know from experience that I don’t clearly see you at all times and in every situation.  You know what I mean: in what I would call my dark times.  So what I am asking you today is simple: whether I clearly see you or not please strengthen me to follow you as clearly as I can in the moment, in the hour, or in the day.  In Your Name I Pray, Amen!”

In Darkness May We See  — An Inspirational Quote

In Darkness

In Darkness May We See  – Reflections

Sure, we want to see clearly at all times.  We would love that to be so: but in my experience such is not the case.  And, frankly, I would be surprised if anyone could say: “I always see clearly.”

We do not see, but we can follow. And in following we can look to the One who we will see ever so clearly when we see Him face to face.

“Why say this, Lee?”  Simple: I simply wanted to encourage you to keep moving forward in your multifaceted journey with Jesus.  He is there.  He cares.  And He hears.

Following about a three year search for God, Lee trusted Christ as Savior in 1967 as young Marine. He has served as an outreach pastor and a church planter. The Lord also led him to serve as the Director of Internships at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA where he served for over 20 years. Lee loves to write, has a strong desire to be a positive influence for Christ in our world, and is passionate about family. And speaking of family, he and his wife Sherry (who served as a Director of Elementary Education for many years and recently retired) praise the Lord for being married 44 years, their 3 daughters and son-laws, and 7 grandchildren! Lee and Sherry would say: "We've been abundantly blessed."
