Thinking Of Joy… A Prayer

A Prayer For Today…

“Lord, should I be fortunate enough to be in the presence of someone today who is experiencing joy, allow my my heart to share in their moment.  And if by chance  someone needs joy within my circle of influence, strengthen me to respond with your heart to them — however you would lead.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen!”

A Quote…

On Sensitivity
In being sensitive may we understand
and in understanding may we
allow our hearts to respond in
wisdom, joy and grace as we do.

Speaking Of Journaling…

Looking back in our lives, many may be the moments of joy we have shared or… missed!

Reflecting on the idea of “shared joys” in life, what comes to mind?

And About Taking Action…

As I think about living on purpose in Christ, would today’s prayer or reflections about the subject of shared joy bring anything to mind — or heart — that I should take action on?

Reflecting On Scripture…

15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn..” (Romans 12:15)**

Following about a three year search for God, Lee trusted Christ as Savior in 1967 as young Marine. He has served as an outreach pastor and a church planter. The Lord also led him to serve as the Director of Internships at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA where he served for over 20 years. Lee loves to write, has a strong desire to be a positive influence for Christ in our world, and is passionate about family. And speaking of family, he and his wife Sherry (who served as a Director of Elementary Education for many years and recently retired) praise the Lord for being married 44 years, their 3 daughters and son-laws, and 7 grandchildren! Lee and Sherry would say: "We've been abundantly blessed."
